The Gulfstream IV remains among the most popular of the large cabin jets. The G IV features a long cabin able to accommodate up to 16 people in different configurations, and range for flights up to 8 hours. The GIV SP version has higher takeoff and landing weights, a redesigned fuselage that allows for more headroom, and other systems improvements. The G400 is a re-brand of G IV SP.
A “light” version, the G300 (not to be confused with the G III) is technically similar to the G IVSP and G400. It comes with fewer cabin and cockpit options, and has less range than the G IVSP or G400.
The Gulfstream G350 and G450 are essentially G300 and G400 aircraft that have the longer flight deck found in the long-range G500 and G550, along with upgraded cockpit systems.
